First Vlog: Me, during an Episode..

TW: This video may make some of you uncomfortable, viewer discretion is advised.

This isn’t a cry for help. This isn’t me asking for sympathy or to invoke a sense of panic or worry into you. This is me documenting what it is like when I am going through an episode.

I did this to show people how things can change so quickly for a mental health/personality disorder sufferer. I’m doing this to show people what people like me go through each day in hopes of bringing about a more compassionate and empathetic dialogue between those that suffer and those that don’t.

This is a huge deal for me so thank you for not reacting from your first instinct and for taking the time to understand what I’m trying to portray here.

  1. What you’re doing is great, so inspiring and honest. Well done! I run a support group for Indians in London who struggle with their mental health and the biggest barrier I see is the struggle to come forward and talk about how they/we feel. If there were more like you when we were growing up maybe we’d be better equipped to express the internal struggle šŸ™‚

    1. Thank you for your kind words! I completely agree. Unfortunately I had to stop writing because my family were NOT supportive and made it difficult for me to continue. Iā€™m slowly coming back to it though x
